Arabic is one of the most important and widely spoken languages in the world and one of the six official languages of the United Nations. It is famous for its rich vocabulary, accuracy, poetic flavor, and eloquence in science and literature. Today, we can still read Arabic texts over 1,600 years old.
At the TII Language Center’s Department of Arabic Language at HBKU, we celebrate World Arabic Language Day every year. Join us in this event and listen to some of our international students learning Arabic discuss the language.
