Hamad Bin Khalifa University (HBKU) will host the Three Minute Thesis (3MT ®) competition, which celebrates the exciting research conducted by its Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) students.
The World Innovation Summit for Education (WISE) 2021 will take place in Doha, Qatar and virtually from 7-9 December, under the theme: ‘Generation Unmute: Reclaiming our Future through Education’. Contributions from our community will be showcased on the WISE 2021 digital platform, on social media and in Doha.
More than 300 speakers and 200 sessions will drive conversations about shaping the future of education.
As part of the summit, Hamad Bin Khalifa University experts will be involved in interactive discussions, roundtables and workshops throughout.
This workshop provides intensive training in simultaneous interpreting techniques. Completing the workshop will help participants develop their confidence inside the interpreter booth and enhance their teamwork skills, better preparing them to join the interpreter workforce.
This workshop will be delivered in English and Arabic
‘Policy Lab’ is the signature public forum of the College of Public Policy (CPP) at Hamad Bin Khalifa University (HBKU). The forum will bring together regional and international speakers to explore a variety of current and cutting-edge policy themes through interactive, conversational, and inclusive exploration of leading policy problems and solutions.

Hamad Bin Khalifa University’s (HBKU) Translation and Interpreting Institute (TII), in partnership with the Centre for Access to Football in Europe (CAFE), will be hosting an audio-descriptive commentary (ADC) training program to provide an opportunity for selected candidates to deliver the service at the FIFA Arab Cup 2021 and World Cup Qatar 2022.
