So much so that setting interest rate to zero is likely to crash such economies; modern forms of financial capitalism cannot function with zero interest. As part of Qatar Biomedical Research Institute’s (QBRI) all-encompassing efforts to support Early Career Researchers (ECR), QBRI’s very own ECRs organized a special lecture to offer attendees an overview of intellectual property (IP 101), outline the relevance of patents to the life sciences sector, and close with elaborating on Qatar Foundation’s role in building and enabling healthcare innovation in Qatar.
