Muhammad Qazi is an Engineer at the Qatar Environment and Energy Research Institute (QEERI), Hamad Bin Khalifa University, Qatar. At QEERI, he engineers the institute's research software platforms, from system architecture and backend services to data pipelines and user-facing applications, providing technology and software support for the institute's research. His work focuses on large-scale research data management, time-series and geospatial data processing, and the design of scalable, secure, and maintainable systems for scientists and stakeholders. His broader background spans artificial intelligence and LLM-based applications, complex distributed system architectures, mobile application development, algorithm design, and DevOps, including cloud infrastructure, containerization, and automated deployment. He has also contributed to numerous open-source software platforms and LLM architectures.
