Ahmed Al-Saadi is a software engineer with experience in a variety of domains. Before joining QCRI, he worked in a Canadian company, conducting distributed denial of service (DDoS) testing, among other things. He believes in applying software engineering principles that are grounded in academic research to solve real-world, practical problems.

His specialties and interests include web, mobile, concurrent systems, fault-tolerant systems, application security and network security. He is a graduate of Concordia University in Montréal, Canada.
