Biography

Dr. Naki Guler is a Postdoctoral Researcher at the Qatar Environment and Energy Research Institute and a senior member of IEEE. He received his B.Sc., M.Sc., and Ph.D. degrees in electrical–electronic engineering from Gazi University, Ankara, Turkey. He served as a lecturer in the Department of Electricity and Energy at Gazi University, Turkey, from 2012 to 2022. He is currently an Associate Professor in the Gazi University Faculty of Technology, Electrical and Electronics Engineering as an Associate Professor. His current research interests include control and applications of power electronic converters, energy conversion, and energy management of renewable sources. He served as a postdoctoral researcher in three internationally funded projects. He served as Associate Editor for IEEE Transactions on Industrial Electronics between 2023 and 2024. He also served as General Co-Chair for CPE-POWERENG 2025 and a committee member for more than ten conferences.
