Biography
Maabur is a biophysical researcher focusing on the intersection between quantum sensing and bio-imaging. He obtained a Master of Engineering in Biotechnology from the Université de technologie de Compiègne (France). Then worked for Invivo (Neovia) for a few years before completing a Master of Science in Molecular Photonics for Biology at the ENS Paris-Saclay. Following this Master, he moved to the UK and obtained a Master of Science from Warwick University in Diamond Science and Technology. He completed his PhD at the University of Oxford on nanodiamonds in the context of single-molecule imaging. Before joining HBKU university, Maabur worked for a few years as a postdoctoral researcher at Ulm University (Germany) where he performed quantum sensing experiments inside living cells.
