Biobank Qatar - The Future of Medical Research

As Chairperson of Biobank Qatar's Board of Trustees, Dr. Hanan Al Kuwari is at the forefront of one of the most important medical research initiatives ever undertaken in the Middle East. Drawing on her expertise as Managing Director of Hamad Medical Corpration, Dr. Al Kuwari and the board will oversee the collection of medical data from up to 100,000 volunteers in Qatar, Biobank Qatar, a member of Qatar Foundation, will provide invaluable support for research to improve the prevention and treatment of life-threatening diseases, such as diabetes and cancer.
