He received his PhD in applied economics with a minor in statistics from Auburn University after receiving his MA from Western Michigan University in economics. He also holds an LLM degree (law and economics) from Michigan State University.
Dr. Ozturk frequently teaches microeconomics, macroeconomics, economics for public policy, econometrics, statistics for social sciences, and research methods courses.
He has worked in various international, multidisciplinary projects in Europe, North America, Turkey, and Qatar.
