The Association for Middle Eastern Public Policy and Administration (AMEPPA 2021) is the premier forum for public policy and administration scholarships in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA). The annual AMEPPA conference attracts academicians, practitioners, and graduate students not just from its primary disciplines of public policy, public administration, and public sector management but also political science, development studies, economics, area studies and international affairs from both the MENA region and around the world.
Dean's Welcome Message
On behalf of the College of Public Policy (CPP) and Hamad Bin Khalifa University (HBKU), it is our honor to host the 10th Annual Association for Middle Eastern Public Policy and Administration (AMEPPA 2021) conference. I would like to extend warm greetings to all attendees. I am sure that you will find the conference to be stimulating and informative.
CPP is one of six colleges at HBKU, a research-intensive university with a focus on graduate education. Our college has a distinctive MPP that connects global policy issues to national and regional challenges. We are looking forward to contributing to, and learning from the exchanges that the AMEPPA conferences have been known for over the past decade.
The Conference Organizing Committee, in collaboration with AMEPPA, has put together a first-class program that is sure to enrich and inform research agendas on key policy and administrative questions.

Visa Information
Nationals of more than 80 countries are eligible for visa-free entry into the State of Qatar, with varying lengths of stays allowed. Nationals of these eligible countries do not require any prior visa arrangements and can obtain a visa waiver on arrival to Qatar, upon presentation of a valid passport with a minimum validity of six months and a confirmed onward or return ticket.
