Ms. Eman Al-Amri

After 2 successful years of holding the position of Deputy Director of Al Jazeera Documentary Channel, Ms. Al-Amri is now Director of Al Jazeera Media Institute since June 2022.

Al-Amri has received several awards, including the Grand Prize in the field of documentary in Morocco, making Ms. Al-Amri the first Qatari female to win an award in this field in 2016.

Ms. Al-Amri holds a bachelor’s degree in Management and Economics from Qatar University, and a Master’s degree in Management and Business from Aston University, UK.

Al-Amri has held several administrative and research positions including:

• Working in the research sector at Aisad 2006.
• Supervising the media research and marketing unit at Al Jazeera Media Network until 2009.
• Moving to the office of the Director General in the network’s internal communication department until 2010.
• Joined the Strategy Sector at the Network as a Senior Advisor for a year and a half.
• Worked as Director of the Training Department at Al Jazeera Media Institute between 2012 and 2016.
• worked as Director of the planning and Projects Department at the Institute during the period from 2017 to 2021.
