Dr. Khalid Abdulla Al-Ali

Dr. Khalid Abdulla Al-Ali is the Acting Undersecretary for Higher Education and the Director of Higher Education Institutional Affairs in the Ministry of Education and Higher Education in Qatar. He has previously served in several educational posts such as Associate Vice President for Faculty Affairs, Director of Foundation Program, Vice Dean of the College of Science at Qatar University and the Chair of the World Commission on the Ethics of Science Knowledge and Technology (COMEST) in UNESCO.

He has several publications to his name in the fields of Human Genetics and Bioethics. He is also a member of the Board of Directors for the Qatar Cancer Society, Board of Trustees for North Atlantic College, Community College Qatar, University of Calgary, Academic Bridge Program, Arabian Gulf University in Bahrain, and Gulf Network for Quality Assurance in Higher Education. He is also a member of IRB at Weill Cornell University, QBRI, QU, and QBB.
