Dr. Ghalia Abdulrahman Al Thani

Dr. Ghalia Al Thani is the first PhD graduate from the College of Humanities and Social Sciences at Hamad Bin Khalifa University (HBKU), where she earned her doctorate in Humanities and Social Sciences with a focus on stakeholder integration in education policymaking. She also holds a Master’s in Public Policy from HBKU, and an Executive MBA from HEC Paris.

Dr. Ghalia currently serves as the Director of Talent Management at Qatar Foundation, where she leads the Foundation’s talent development strategies, leadership programs, and talent frameworks aligned with Qatar’s human capital priorities. Her career spans senior leadership roles in both the public, and nonprofit sectors, including the Qatar Leadership Center, and the National Human Rights Committee.
