Dr. Ghalia Abdulrahman Al Thani

Dr. Ghalia Al Thani is the first PhD graduate from the College of Humanities and Social Sciences at Hamad Bin Khalifa University (HBKU), where she earned her doctorate in Humanities and Social Sciences with a focus on stakeholder integration in education policymaking. She also holds a Master’s in Public Policy from HBKU, and an Executive MBA from HEC Paris.

Dr. Ghalia currently serves as the Executive Director of the Performance and Digital Excellence Program (iMtiaz) at Qatar Foundation, where she leads a foundation-wide transformation portfolio focused on operational excellence, digital enablement, and performance improvement. Prior to this role, she served as Director of Talent Management at Qatar Foundation, where she led talent development strategies, leadership programs, and competency frameworks aligned with Qatar’s human capital priorities.
