Join us to share empowering and inspiring perspectives with recognized leaders in the area of labor law and the workplace.

The event will begin with a panel discussion on how the evolution of international standards and best practices is affecting local legislation in the context of women in the workplace.

HBKU’s orientation day aims to help new students transition into life at HBKU. Over the course of the day, students will learn more about the university’s services and resources and get the chance to meet with future classmates and key individuals at HBKU.

All incoming students are invited to attend orientation, to be held at Minaretein (College of Islamic Studies building).

ARABIC-CHINESE-FRENCH-GERMAN-PORTUGUESE-SPANISH

The Translation and Interpreting Institute’s Language Center offers classes to children between the ages of 5 and 15 years. 

Every Saturday morning, youngsters will learn to understand and express themselves in the language of their choice.

Additionally, they will take an exciting journey into their chosen nation’s culture, where they will learn and practice the language of that country through well-structured lessons and diverse activities such as songs, games, crafts, music, drama and art.

ABOUT THE CONFERENCE

Qatar Environment and Energy Research Institute is organizing a specialized conference in December 2019 to address the challenges and opportunities in the Energy-Water-Environment (EWE) nexus, in particular the research and technology development requirements for EWE nexus in harsh desert climates. Over 200 researchers, scientists, engineers and stakeholders are expected to attend the four-day event, which will be held at Qatar National Convention Centre from 2-5 December 2019.
