Under the patronage of His Excellency Acting Ambassador Dr. Mohammed Abdullah Al Zubairi, Hamad Bin Khalifa University is hosting the Yemeni Culture Day. The event will include a traditional Yemeni show, an exhibition, and Yemeni food. 

The event will be held at the HBKU Student Center.

This workshop traces the reach of foreign law. It will reference a 2004 French statute on religious dress among school students.
The workshop will be delivered by Dr. Pierre Legrand, who holds several positions at the Sorbonne, the University of San Diego, and the University of Melbourne.

Patrick Winston, a Professor of Artificial Intelligence and Computer Science at Massachusetts Institute of Technology’s Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence Laboratory, is to visit Qatar later this month to discuss the future of artificial intelligence.

Professor Winston’s public talk, “The Future of AI: Where we are, how we got there and where we are going”, will be held on Monday, March 27 at the Qatar National Convention Centre.

The Muhammad Bin Hamad Al Thani Center for Muslim Contributions to Civilization is hosting a public symposium that attempts to shed light on the intellectual heritage of one of the great scholars of Japan and the world in the field of Qur’anic studies, with particular emphasis on philosophy and linguistics. The symposium aims to present some of his views on various aspects of his Islamic scholarship to the wider academic community in Qatar.
