Biography
Dr. Hashir Kuniyil is a postdoctoral researcher at the College of Science and Engineering at Hamad Bin Khalifa University. He is presently engaged in experimental investigations in the area of Quantum sensing. Specifically, his work aims to develop a cutting-edge quantum imaging system. Additionally, his ongoing research includes conducting experiments with a cold atom-based gravimeter. In this context, he is attempting to merge a large momentum transfer (LMT) system with a cold atom interferometer to reduce the currently extended integration length. He earned his PhD from Ozyegin University in Istanbul, Turkey, where he focused on the implementation of high SNR and superresolution quantum imaging systems.
