Overview

The Registrar’s Office is part of the Office of the Provost. The office provides students, faculty, advisors, and administrators with services pertaining to:

  • Registration
  • Course scheduling
  • Maintenance of the university catalogue
  • Management of student records
  • Issuing official student documents.

The Registrar's Office provides these instructions every semester to cover the updates and new instructions for the registration process.

The HBKU Registrar’s Office is the custodian of student’s academic records, safeguarding and ensuring the accuracy and integrity of student’s records, assuring compliance with academic policy, maintaining efficient student systems, and providing excellent administrative service to students, faculty, administrative staff, and alumni. The Registrar’s Office strives to maintain the integrity of these academic records and allows legal and acceptable access to these records by providing services to students, alumni, and other members of the University.

Mission

The HBKU Registrar’s Office supports the university's mission and core values. Its mission is to serve the community efficiently and ethically. This mission includes responsibilities such as coordinating the registration processes, collecting and recording grades, enrollment verification, printing official transcripts, maintaining course information and degree requirements, conducting graduation ceremonies, and distributing diplomas.
