Conference Overview
This international symposium will bring together leading scientists, clinicians and translational researchers to discuss recent advances and emerging therapeutic opportunities in metabolic diseases.
Recent advances in immunometabolism, beta-cell biology, lipid metabolism and inter-organ signaling have revealed new mechanisms underlying the development and progression of metabolic diseases, including obesity, diabetes and metabolic dysfunction-associated steatotic liver disease (MASLD). These interconnected conditions represent major global health challenges shaped by complex interactions among metabolic organs and tissues.
Participants will explore how communication between the pancreas, liver, adipose tissue, immune system, and other metabolic organs influences disease outcomes. The symposium aims to foster international collaborations, accelerate translational research, and identify innovative strategies for the prevention and treatment of metabolic diseases.
