We are pleased to announce that Dr. Marwa Qaraqe presented a keynote talk titled “Applications of Artificial Intelligence in Autism Research in Qatar: Advancements, Challenges, and Future Directions” at the 2nd International Conference and Forum on Assistive Technologies for Special Needs, held from 7–10 December 2025 in Kuwait.
In her keynote, Dr. Marwa explored how cutting-edge artificial intelligence technologies are driving new insights and innovations in autism research in Qatar. She highlighted recent advancements in AI-powered screening, data-driven behavioral analysis, and personalized support tools, while also addressing the ethical, technical, and societal challenges that shape the field.
Dr. Qaraqe emphasized the importance of interdisciplinary collaboration, locally grounded research, and inclusive design to ensure that AI solutions genuinely meet the needs of individuals with autism and their families. She also outlined promising directions for future research and innovation in Qatar and beyond.
