The MENA region is a diverse and culturally rich area that includes many countries with important contributions to the arts and humanities. It is also a center for social development, where many people from different communities, cultures and social classes live together.
This panel explores the digital dimensions of this diverse cultural production through the use of digital technologies and innovative research methods. More specifically, the panel will demonstrate how innovative digital humanities methods can be used to analyze a wide range of cultural outcomes, from cooking recipes and government documents to religious texts, and reveal the authorship of anonymous texts.
