The Office of the Vice President for Research at Hamad Bin Khalifa University (HBKU) is delighted to announce the awardees of the second cycle of Rapid Response Call (RRC): ‘Covid-19: Lessons Learned and Road to Recovery’ to respond to the continued challenges posed by the pandemic and to support a sustained recovery in Qatar. The size of the award in this call was up to US $50,000 for a total duration of up to six months.

Qatar National Research Fund launched this call to provide rapid research-based analysis and outcome to help Qatar further strengthen its response to the challenges posed by COVID-19 in the following focus areas:

  • Economic Recovery Post-Pandemic
  • Education in Times of Crises
  • Epidemiology and Health Related Issues
  • Social Cohesion and Community Resilience
