Colleges
HBKU has interdisciplinary colleges comprising a research and learning community where every person can experience the advantages of research education. It seeks faculty whose research significantly advances knowledge for the solution of complex problems, the creation of new ideas, and enhances their teaching. Master's students will work closely with faculty across basic, applied and translational research.
Through these colleges, HBKU will offer opportunities for students to engage in inquiry and discovery. Students will be encouraged to broaden their intellectual depth by seeking out problems and working through solutions which lie at the crossroads of traditional disciplines, with existing and new partners. HBKU graduates will emerge as global citizens with life-long learning skills such as critical thinking, problem-solving, teamwork, and communications which will enable them to not only compete, but also succeed in the global market.
