Overview

The Qatar Biomedical Research Institute (QBRI) Research Centers are composed of multidisciplinary teams focused on national health priority research programs and supported by genomic, transcriptomic, proteomic, metabolomic, and other advanced technology platforms.

In line with the Qatar National Health Strategy 2018-2022, QBRI has established three research centers of scientific excellence to capitalize the research and development investment. QBRI strives for excellence at all levels in their operations, facilities, and partnerships with top local and international biomedical research institutions and other stakeholders. Consistent with its mission to develop and promote translational biomedical research, encourage national and international collaborations, and increase knowledge sharing, three research centers, seven core advanced technology platforms, and other enabling advanced technologies have been established.
