We’re excited to announce the upcoming HBKU’s summer STEM programs! The STEM Outreach team is looking for creative future engineers and scientists to join us in our STEM Hub laboratory for a week of fun and hands-on learning.

Registration is now open for all programs and closes on 29 May. Please only apply once per person, and only in those programs in which you are grade appropriate.

Space is very limited. Participants will be chosen based upon your answers to our registration questions and your passion for exciting engineering. No ChatGPT or AI answers please… we want to hear from you! Notification emails will be sent out on 04 June.

Students in grades 9-12 are invited to design and build robots using the famed REV Robotics model. These professional-grade materials are the building blocks to some of the greatest international robotics competitions like FIRST Global and FIRST Tech Challenge. Students will learn mechanical and electrical engineering skills from our team of roboticists. They will also learn how to program the robot to control sensors, motors, and servos in this intense hands-on experience.

REV Robotics (Grades 9-12 only): 12 - 16 July, 9 a.m. – 1 p.m.
