Overview
This flexible, year-round program provides tailored research internships and learning opportunities for school and undergraduate students with durations varying based on student preferences and mentor availability. It offers a unique chance to explore potential career paths while gaining practical laboratory experience in a supportive and intellectually enriching environment. Participants engage in practical lab work and work closely with researchers, acquiring valuable insight into the research process. Students are matched with one of QBRI’s research groups across its three centers, depending on mentor availability and the student’s research interests.

Eligibility
- Undergraduate and school students.
- Holders of a valid Qatari residence permit.
- International students studying abroad must have at least one parent employed at Qatar Foundation and hold a valid Qatari residence permit.
Application Process
Applicants must submit the following documents to qbriinfo@hbku.edu.qa
- Soft copy of the students’ QID (both sides in PDF format)
- A filled copy of the internship application form.
- Hepatitis B Negative Certificate
- QF Students should apply online using this platform.
