General IT Policies

ITS follows a specific set of policies and procedures based on standards and best practices related to managing risk to data, technology resources and other institutional information assets. It outlines specific requirements or rules that must be met and are usually specific to a topic or area.

Using international industry standards as a guide, the policies manual encompasses various aspects of information security including, but not limited to system access and authentication; system and data integrity; data access, privacy, and confidentiality; and incident response.
