Future Leaders Program

HBKU’s Executive Education Center (EEC) partnered with Oman’s Royal Academy of Management to deliver the Future Leaders Program, targeting 50 young Omani professionals under the age of 34, and preparing them for leadership roles within the public sector. The program focused on building capabilities in change management, strategic thinking, communication, growth mindsets, and geopolitics. Equipping participants with the skills needed to navigate complex leadership challenges that affect contemporary public sector organizations.
 

Public Policy and Strategy Planning and Execution

The EEC partnered with Oman’s Royal Academy of Management to deliver a bilingual program in Muscat for 20 Director Generals from a range of sectors. The program covered the entire public policy cycle, combining hands-on sessions, case studies from Oman and Qatar, and discussions with senior officials to provide a rich and practical learning experience. Participants explored strategies to enhance policy effectiveness and drive sustainable governance reforms, drawing on both local insights and global best practices.

Executive Learning Sessions (QIA)

The Executive Education Center (EEC) partnered with the Qatar Investment Authority (QIA) to deliver a series of executive learning sessions designed to build knowledge and leadership capabilities across the organization. The sessions covered a diverse range of themes, including Introduction to Islam, governance of special economic zones, women in leadership, and risk management.

Led by HBKU faculty experts, the sessions provided participants with valuable insights into cultural and ethical frameworks, global economic trends, inclusive leadership practices, and effective approaches to managing organizational risk. This partnership reflects EEC’s commitment to supporting QIA in attaining their strategic objectives.
 

Empowering Leaders and Embracing Innovation (QDB)

The Executive Education Center (EEC) partnered with Qatar Development Bank (QDB) to deliver a series of strategic learning sessions aimed at enhancing leadership capabilities, and advancing digital innovation across the organization. The sessions explored key themes, including Women in Leadership, The Future of Banking, and Quantum Computing.

Facilitated by HBKU faculty and industry experts, participants gained practical insights into leadership development, strategic career growth, and the application of emerging technologies such as AI and quantum computing within the banking sector. This collaboration demonstrates EEC’s commitment to supporting QDB in building a future-ready workforce, and fostering organizational excellence in both human capital and technological innovation.
