Motivation
To address the challenges of costly, time-intensive, and inaccessible autism screening for school-age children by developing faster, more affordable, and widely accessible behavioral analysis methods.
Research
Our work advances autism screening for school-age children through static facial image analysis, followed by 2D behavioral analysis using head pose, facial features, and eye gaze, and extends to 3D behavioral analysis for comprehensive assessment.
Impact
These innovative screening methods enhance accessibility, reduce costs, and improve early detection of autism in school-age children, facilitating timely interventions and better outcomes in educational and community settings.
