This online seminar will examine the mechanisms of integrating genetic discovery with biomarkers during different stages of movement disorders, such as Parkinson’s disease. The seminar will also highlight Dr. Houlden’s research on genetic causes, biomarkers and new therapeutics based on an improved understanding of disease pathways.
Dr. Houlden and his clinical team is invested in neurogenetics with a particular interest in inherited Parkinson’s disease, dementia, ataxia, neuromuscular disorders, epilepsy and complex disorders such as multiple system atrophy (MSA); particularly in diverse populations.
