People Biography

Dr. Bakhita Rashid Meqbel is a biomedical scientist with over 20 years of experience in clinical diagnostics and biomedical research. She holds a PhD in Biological and Biomedical Sciences from Hamad Bin Khalifa University, as well as MSc and BSc degrees in Biomedical Sciences from Qatar University. She currently serves as a Research Fellow at Qatar Biomedical Research Institute (QBRI), where her work focuses on immunology, molecular biology, cellular analysis, and translational biomedical research. She has broad expertise in biomedical research, laboratory techniques, scientific communication, and research project support. Her work has contributed to peer-reviewed publications across different areas of biomedical science, reflecting her experience in multidisciplinary research and collaborative scientific projects. In addition to her research activities, she is actively involved in student training, scientific outreach, research programs, and national educational initiatives that promote biomedical science and research development in Qatar.
