CPP Professor Selected to be Co-Editor in Chief of the Australian Journal of Public Administration

A College of Public Policy (CPP) professor has been selected to be one of four new co-editors in chiefs (EIC) of the Australian Journal of Public Administration (AJPA) for 2022-24, the Institute of Public Administration Australia (IPAA) has announced.

Dr. Kim Moloney, Assistant Professor at CPP, was previously at Murdoch University in Perth, Australia. In selecting the new EICs, the IPAA National Council highlighted their commitment to innovation and to increasing opportunities for research translation, as well as enhancing the readership of the journal and its global recognition in collaboration with the IPAA.

Dr. Moloney will share EIC duties with Dr. Michael Di Francesco (Australian National University), Dr. Azad Singh Bali (Australian National University), and Dr. Paul Fawcett (University of Melbourne).

The team took over editorial duties on January 1 and was introduced to the outgoing editors to ensure a seamless transition.

IPAA stated that it was looking forward to working with the new editorial team to continue lifting the AJPA readership and increase its global accessibility and visibility among researchers, practitioners, and students.
