Beyond COVID-19: Can Smart Surfaces Slow Contagion?

08Jul2020

Qatar is transitioning to the summer season in the next few weeks, where most human activities will take place indoors, often in air conditioned environments, where contagion caused by infectious diseases such as COVID-19 increases significantly.

This webinar, organized by the Qatar Environment and Energy Research Institute (QEERI), will highlight the modes of infectious disease transmission in indoor environments. It will also highlight the impact of designing and adapting smart surfaces to slow down contagion in the case of  infectious diseases such as COVID-19 and beyond.
