Citation Management


What is the citation management?

The software tools allow a user to organize and retrieve information, such as citations for books, articles, and websites, by interfacing with library databases. The citation manager then works with a word-processing software to insert properly formatted footnotes or citations into a paper and create a properly formatted bibliography.

Which citation management programs are used at HBKU?

Individuals at HBKU use a variety of programs, including Zotero, Mendeley, and ZoteroBib.


HBKU Library provides its members with access to RefWorks via ProQuest using their HBKU email address. This instructional video explains the steps to create an account and get started.
