The lecture will explain how drinking water and wastewater treatment in Qatar is designed to remove pathogens including viruses, and what we can learn from the global research related to water and COVID-19.
Dr. Jenny Lawler, Senior Research Director, Water Center, QEERI
Dr. Jenny Lawler is the Senior Research Director at the Water Center at Qatar Environment and Energy Research Institute (QEERI). She graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical Engineering and subsequently a PhD in membrane separations. For the past 15 years, Dr. Lawler has worked in the area of water and the environment, joining QEERI in December 2019 from Dublin City University Water Institute.
