The lecture will focus on the links between the recent improvement in air quality and the degree of social distancing policies adopted. It will consider how we can leverage that information in the fight against COVID-19 and for future air quality management efforts.

Mohammed Ayoub is the Senior Research Director of the Environment and Sustainability Center at the Qatar Environment and Energy Research Institute (QEERI). Mohammed is an atmospheric scientist with over 20 years of experience in air quality and climate change research and management spanning academia, technology development, regulatory agencies, international consulting and the United Nations.
