This workshop will provide an overview and first insights into fundamental communications terminology and practice. It will establish an understanding of the differences between public relations and related fields like marketing, advertising and branding, as well as their applications, impact on business, society and the public sector.
Delivered interactively, the course facilitates a conversation on how the various communications disciplines connect to key audiences, organizational objectives, and the shaping of public opinion.
- Participants shall be enabled to confidently speak about the differences between marketing, PR and advertising, and develop a first skill-set that can be applied in a work-setting.
