Al-Rawd al-Unuf (The Fragrant Garden) by Abul Qasim al-Suhayli is probably the most renowned commentary on Ibn Hisham’s Sira. Composed in the 13th century, this literary masterpiece is highly regarded within the Islamic tradition for its comprehensive portrayal of the life and character of the Prophet.
