Domestic workers constitute a public phenomenon, and their role in childcare gives rise to a number of issues relative to the conditions of each community, as well as its principles, beliefs, ethics, and legal system.

This lecture explores the psychological attitudes of domestic workers and their treatment of children – and how this impacts children’s psychological health – from a comparative Islamic thought perspective.
