Dr. Balasubramanian Moovarkumudalvan pursued his Bachelor’s in Physics (2002) and Master’s in Biophysics (2004) from University of Madras, India, where he also obtained his PhD in ‘Crystallography & Biophysics’ in 2010. His doctoral work involved Crystallographic Studies on Low and High Oxygen Affinity Hemoglobin. Dr. Balasubramian is a Postdoctoral Researcher at the College of Health and Life Sciences. His research is aimed to identify the regulatory interactions by using Promoter Capture Hi-C (PCHi-C) method in diseases such as leukemia. His research contributions have led to around 20 Protein Data Bank Entries and several publications including a book chapter in reputed international journals.
