This workshop will engage participants in a series of geometric paper-folding exercises meant to develop their creative and technical skills. Over the course of three sessions, participants will explore a variety of Islamic patterns brought to life by a series of alternating folds.
The instructor will be live streamed onto a screen in front of the classroom, while an on-site moderator will guide students in creating their artwork.
All materials will be provided.
Free and open to all HBKU students (Priority for students of MS in Islamic Art, Architecture and Urbanism)
