Dr. Vasileios Korakakis is a spine and sports physiotherapist working as the clinical leader of the Rehabilitation Department at Aspetar Orthopaedic and Sports Medicine Hospital. He has worked as a physiotherapist for elite football teams and has several years of experience in spinal and orthopaedic rehabilitation. He is a senior lecturer in Orthopaedic Manipulative Therapy in IFOMPT-certified programs. 

Dr. Korakakis has a Diploma in Mechanical Diagnosis and Therapy from the University of Otago, New Zealand. After gaining his Master of Science in Health and Exercise from the University of Thessaly, Greece in 2012, he pursued his PhD in biomechanics. He has authored more than 40 research publications and several international conference presentations.
